Frontier Retreat Held September 17th and 18th 2009
September 17 and 18 2009 Retreat

On September 17th and 18th 2009, the Frontier Program held a retreat at Kansas State University.  The photo above, taken in the Tadtman Boardroom at the K-State Alumni Center, shows the group of Frontier students, faculty, and staff, attending the retreat.

Jason Ackleson As part of our retreat, Dr. Jason Ackleson, Co-Director of the Frontier Program, gave a presentation to the Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology (DMP) Seminar Series.

Dr. Ackleson's presentation highlighted the unique and interdisciplinary research and education available through the Frontier Program.

 

Julianne Jensby After Dr. Ackleson's presentation, our group moved to the Tadtman Bordroom located at the K-State Alumni Center.

After arriving, Julieanne Jensby, a Frontier research assistant pictured to the left, gave a presentation about her summer internship at the Los Alamos National Laboratories, in Los Alamos, NM.
